Financial Adviser - Medical Aid & GAP Cover

Synopsis

An established financial-services practice is seeking an accredited Financial Adviser to service an existing client portfolio with a focus on Medical Aid and GAP Cover. This position is centred on client advice and portfolio servicing rather than building a new client book, with leads provided by the business and occasional travel required within the Free State.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain an existing client base.
• Provide appropriate advice relating to Medical Aid products.
• Provide advice regarding GAP Cover solutions.
• Work with leads supplied by the business.
• Manage the administration associated with assigned client portfolios.
• Maintain accurate client information and advisory records.
• Respond to client queries and support ongoing policy or product requirements.
• Meet clients in person when required, including occasional travel within the Free State.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• Fully accredited and licensed Financial Adviser.
• RE5 Regulatory Examination completed.
• Appropriate accreditation to provide relevant financial-product advice.
• Experience advising clients on Medical Aid and GAP Cover products.
• Strong administrative and client-servicing skills.
• Ability to provide professional financial advice without relying on new-business prospecting.
