Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to take ownership of key reporting cycles and ensure accurate month-end close delivery. This is a high-impact role that supports management decision-making through disciplined reconciliations and reliable reporting packs. You will work across multiple finance processes, including journals, balance sheet substantiation, and compliance schedules. The role requires both technical competence and a strong control mindset to ensure audit readiness. You will collaborate with operations and finance colleagues to resolve variances and improve the quality of financial data. Manage month-end close tasks including journals, reconciliations, and schedule preparation.
Prepare balance sheet substantiation packs and investigate variances to closure.
Compile monthly management reports and support the preparation of financial statements.
Ensure proper cut-off and accuracy of accruals, prepayments, and allocations.
Support VAT packs and compliance documentation requests, ensuring traceable supporting evidence.
Assist with audit preparation, responding to queries and providing required schedules.
Support process improvement initiatives and strengthen finance controls and documentation.

Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance is essential.
3–6 years financial accounting experience.
Working knowledge of IFRS principles and statutory documentation.
Strong Excel skills; ERP/accounting system proficiency advantageous.
High attention to detail with a structured approach to deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and auditors.
