Finance Manager – Project Finance (EPC)

Role Overview

A petroleum storage and terminal development project in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape, is seeking a Finance Manager for a forecast 30-month project-based contract. The role is based in the Saldanha Bay area.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years’ finance experience, with at least 5 years in project finance, construction finance, cost control or capital projects.
• Experience on EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, tank farm, terminal, infrastructure, energy or major industrial projects is highly advantageous.
• Ability to interpret EPC contracts, payment milestones, commercial schedules, change orders, securities and financial-risk provisions.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, cost reporting, commitments, accruals, variations and financial close-out.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modelling skills.
• Experience with ERP, project-controls or cost-management systems is preferred.
