Finance Manager CA(SA)

Synopsis

A well-established car-hire business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function and support strategic growth. Reporting into senior leadership, the role oversees financial operations, regulatory compliance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial performance in a fast-paced operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full finance function.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Produce executive financial reports for decision-making.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and overall financial performance.
• Ensure regulatory and statutory financial compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance-team members where applicable.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• CA(SA) qualification.
• At least five years of post-articles experience.
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar finance-leadership role.
• Strong financial-reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability.
• Ability to provide commercial insight to senior decision-makers.
• Experience leading a finance function in a fast-paced operational environment.
