Our client is appointing a Finance Manager to lead finance operations, strengthen controls, and ensure reliable reporting for leadership decision-making. This role is suited to a strong all-rounder who can manage the close process while improving finance workflows and discipline. You will supervise team outputs, ensure compliance, and drive consistency in reporting. The position requires a balance of technical accuracy and practical stakeholder management. You will work closely with operational leaders to support budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews. Lead month-end close, ensuring journals, reconciliations, and schedules are complete and accurate.
Oversee AP/AR processes, ensuring timely processing and clean ledger integrity.
Prepare monthly management packs, commentary, and reporting inputs for leadership.
Manage budgets and forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring assumptions are realistic and documented.
Strengthen internal controls, segregation of duties, and audit readiness across the finance function.
Support year-end audit processes, responding to queries and providing schedules and documentation.
Coach and develop finance staff, ensuring performance standards and delivery timelines are met.

Degree in Accounting/Finance is essential; CA(SA) or similar advantageous.
6–10 years finance experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
Strong understanding of controls, compliance, and reporting cycles.
Strong Excel skills; ERP experience advantageous.
Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
