Finance Administrator

Do you have 2–3 years’ experience as a Finance Administrator, with a solid understanding of purchase orders, petty cash, debtors, and general financial administration?

Our client, based in Riversands, is seeking a well-organised and detail-focused professional to support their finance department and ensure the smooth running of daily administrative and financial processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, 
  • 2–4 years’ experience in a similar administrative/accounts role
  • Strong knowledge and experience with purchase orders
  • Experience handling petty cash, debtors, and wages
  • Working knowledge of Xero accounting software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
DUTIES
  • Greet visitors, clients, and staff with a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Capturing and processing purchase orders accurately
  • Following up on outstanding purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Managing petty cash and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with debtors administration and account follow-ups
  • Processing wages and supporting payroll-related administration
  • Reconciling accounts and assisting with general financial administration
  • Maintaining accurate filing and record-keeping systems
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative duties when required


Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
