Synopsis

A healthcare and pharmaceutical wholesale business is seeking a Field Sales Representative to grow sales and market share across an assigned KwaZulu-Natal territory. The role works directly with independent and corporate pharmacies, dispensing doctors and healthcare buyers while promoting prescription, OTC, front-shop and complementary product ranges.

Key Responsibilities

Manage field-sales activity across an assigned KwaZulu-Natal territory.
Develop relationships with independent and community pharmacies.
Engage corporate retail pharmacies, dispensing doctors and clinic or hospital pharmacy buyers.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across the wholesale product range.
Grow existing accounts through upselling and the introduction of additional product lines.
Support promotional campaigns and product launches within customer accounts.
Collect information on competitor activity, pricing, stock availability and customer demand.
Provide relevant market feedback to regional sales and marketing stakeholders.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12.
Two to four years of proven field-sales experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or FMCG sales is preferred.
Wholesale distribution experience is strongly advantageous.
A tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, pharmacy assistance or a related field is advantageous.
Strong relationship-building and target-driven sales capability.
