Farm Manager (Crop Production)
Our client, a boutique crop producing farm based in Paarl, seeks to employ an experienced and hands-on Farm Manager to join this progressive and growing agricultural operation. This role is suited to a dynamic individual with strong management capability and a solid understanding of olive cultivation, soil analysis, and plant health.
Please note that we are looking for a vibrant, energetic farm manager, who has a solid understanding of high-quality crop production, ideally currently based in the Western Cape.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field, coupled with proven experience in farm management, preferably within permanent crops
- Strong working knowledge of soil analysis, fertilisation programmes, and plant health management, as well as the ability to interpret soil and leaf analysis results and implement corrective actions
- Experience managing staff, contractors, and seasonal labour
- Sound understanding of irrigation systems and water management
- Strong planning, organisational, and record-keeping skills
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- Commitment to sustainable and efficient farming practices
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own reliable transport, and a clear criminal record
