A leading manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Factory Accountant to join their company. The successful candidate will support financial reporting, costing, stock control, and compliance processes within the manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Finance, Management Accounting, or related qualification (NQF 6)
CIMA qualification or studies towards CIMA advantageous
Up to 5 years’ experience in cost accounting, reporting, or similar role
Manufacturing industry experience advantageous
Advanced MS Excel skills
SAP FI & MM knowledge advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Prepare import costing files and financial reports
Assist with stock counts, stock variance investigations, and reporting
Compile production scrap reports and monthly balancing reports
Support material master maintenance and SAP transaction accuracy
Monitor scanning and factory system processes
Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives
Ensure compliance with company controls, policies, and procedures
Support month-end reporting and management accounting functions
