Role Overview

APMC is hiring a External Sales Representative/Sales Engineer (Technical Sales) in Cape Town. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to keeping technical work accurate, practical and aligned to operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support and training to customers where required.
Take ownership of Developing and distributing technical support materials to assist customers.
Keep momentum on liaising with internal departments including Technical, Stores, Logistics and Finance to ensure efficient order processing and service delivery.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a External Sales Representative/Sales Engineer (Technical Sales).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

2 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
