A leading lighting company based in Cornubia is looking for a motivated and results-driven External Sales Representative to grow its customer base and drive sales within the lighting and electrical market.

This role is suited to a self-starter with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for sales.

Requirements

Matric (relevant sales or technical qualification advantageous)
2–5 years’ experience in external sales (lighting, electrical, or construction-related industries preferred)
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (essential)
Proven sales track record
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Good time management and planning skills

Duties

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Actively source new business opportunities within assigned territories
Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product promotions
Provide professional advice on lighting products and solutions
Prepare quotations, follow up on orders, and close sales deals
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and customer satisfaction
