Our client, a premier supplier of Industrial supplies, seeks to employ an experience and professional External Sales Rep, to join this progressive and expanding professional team, covering the West Coast region.

Please note that we do need a candidate with a own vehicle, valid driver’s license and proven experience in business development and calling on the engineering, manufacturing and related industrial customers

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in external sales, specifically to industry, agriculture or engineering sectors (a tertiary qualification would be highly advantageous)
You will have a proven track record in cold calling, business development, customer service and service delivery
You will be proactive in terms of following up on customer orders, providing feedback and managing any queries from existing and/or new potential customers
You will have good organisational skills, as well as being adept at maintaining sales administration and ensuring invoicing is accurate and debt collection on behalf of Head Office.
You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
