Role Overview

Oversee the day-to-day operation of an effluent treatment plant, focusing on chemical usage, material balancing and process monitoring.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily effluent-treatment plant activities and report operating deviations.
Maintain the plant's daily water-material balance.
Track chemical consumption and verify chemical deliveries and inventory records.
Cross-check vendor invoices against chemical usage and delivery records.
Report chemical usage, inventory status and vendor performance.
Collaborate with technical staff on process requirements and operations.
Maintain accurate work, material-balance and reporting records.
Support food-safety, quality and operational standards and supervise the team where required.

Chemical Engineering qualification preferred.
Water-chemistry understanding or experience.
Team-management experience.
Manufacturing experience is advantageous.
Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail and report-writing skills.
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
