Role Overview
This Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Officer opportunity in Mhlambanyatsi gives the right candidate a chance to work in environmental with clear responsibilities and visible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of Bachelor's degree (or similar) in Environmental Science, Forestry, Sustainability, Engineering, Social Sciences, Safety, or a related field.
- Support the team by managing 5+ years' experience in ESG, environmental management, sustainability, or compliance within manufacturing, energy, or forestry sectors.
- Keep momentum on strong knowledge of environmental permitting, sustainability standards, and ESG frameworks.
- Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Officer.
- Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
