Our client is seeking a compassionate and professional Enrolled Nurse to join their Care Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, while ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of residents in a high-care environment.

The role also includes supervising Caregivers and Nursing Assistants, monitoring patient conditions, assisting with daily nursing activities, and responding appropriately in emergency situations. Requirements & Skills:

Diploma in Nursing
Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse (annual proof of registration required)
Previous experience in healthcare and/or elderly care will be advantageous
Physically and emotionally fit to work in a high-care environment
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and/or English
Compassionate, patient, respectful, and professional approach to patient care
Ability to remain calm and act appropriately under pressure or in emergency situations
Neat, professional, and courteous demeanour
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care in accordance with care plans and nursing procedures
Assist residents with daily healthcare needs while maintaining dignity and comfort
Observe, monitor, and report changes in residents’ conditions to the Registered Nurse
Supervise and support Caregivers and Nursing Assistants
Administer basic nursing care and medication as delegated
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety standards
Deliver compassionate support to residents and their families
