Role Overview

GOLD – HR & Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Engineering Services Supervisor (Opencast Mining) in Kathu. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused mining team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Familiar with mining processes and well experienced in general infrastructure and associated equipment maintenance.
Take ownership of Certificate of fitness to work in a mining environment and successful completion of Rehabilitation Fitness Assessment (RFA).
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Engineering Services Supervisor (Opencast Mining).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.

Requirements

5 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
