Engineering Manager - Product and Process

Role Overview

An experienced Engineering Manager: Product and Process is required to lead product development, manufacturing-process improvement and engineering excellence in an electronics and defence environment. The role drives quality, operational efficiency, compliance and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and process engineering activities from development through production.
• Drive continuous improvement, engineering excellence and operational efficiency.
• Improve product quality and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Manage engineering projects, priorities, resources and delivery milestones.
• Lead, coach and develop cross-functional engineering teams.
• Work with manufacturing, quality, operations and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering qualification and substantial product or process engineering experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, product development and process optimisation.
• Engineering project-management and team-leadership capability.
• Strong quality, problem-solving and continuous-improvement skills.
• Ability to work in a regulated, customer-focused technical environment.
