Role Overview

Fenris Personnel needs a Engineering Buyer who can step into a practical role in East Rand. A key part of the work involves Engineering Buyer An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Engineering Buyer to join this fast paced company in the FMCG space.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on source and purchase engineering spares, components, and services (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities).
Support the team by managing develop and maintain an approved base for critical engineering items.
Keep momentum on work closely with Engineering and manage Stores to maintain optimal stock levels of critical spares.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Engineering Buyer.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
