A key part of the work involves Crestholme, Durban A well-established, boutique insurance practice based in Waterfall is looking for a Domestic Underwriter to join their small, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on assessing and underwriting domestic insurance applications in line with company guidelines.
Support the team by managing staying updated on industry trends, legislation, and insurance products.
Take ownership of 2+ years in short-term insurance (underwriting and/or claims).
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Domestic Underwriter - Crestholme, Durban.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
