About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Dispatch Supervisor to oversee the daily dispatch operations, ensuring orders are processed, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time. You will lead the dispatch team, coordinate with warehouse and logistics departments, and maintain efficient distribution processes to meet customer expectations.

What You'll Do

Supervise daily dispatch operations and coordinate outgoing deliveries
Lead, train, and support dispatch staff to achieve operational targets
Ensure orders are picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched accurately
Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with drivers and logistics teams
Maintain accurate dispatch records, shipping documentation, and inventory logs
Resolve dispatch issues, delays, and customer delivery queries
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and transport regulations
Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency

Requirements

Matric certificate (minimum requirement)
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (advantageous)
Previous experience in dispatch, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations
Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is preferred
Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse or logistics management systems
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
