REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, or related qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing advantageous
- Minimum 5+ years of B2B media sales experience at a mid-level
- Prior experience selling digital advertising in publications, web banners and newsletters
- Experience working with Corporates Media, Ad agencies, and PR firms
- Strong presentation and sales pitching skills are essential
- Solid understanding of digital media sales strategies and performance metrics
- Client-centric ethos with consultative sales approach
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Research and development are key drivers for this position to succeed
- Own vehicle and valid SA driving license
- Drive sales of integrated advertising solutions across multiple platforms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, marketing teams, agencies and key decision-makers
- Secure contract placements that drive repeat business
- Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
- Develop professional, strategic client proposals tailored to objectives, budgets & brand positioning
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, onboarding, campaign execution, reporting, renewals and upselling
- Coordinate with editorial & creative teams to ensure successful campaign delivery
- Conduct presentations and maintain accurate CRM reporting and pipeline management
- Represent the brand at launches, networking functions and industry events
