Diesel Truck Technician - Quality Controller

Role Overview

A highly experienced Diesel Technician, Quality Controller, or Workshop Foreman is required to conduct final inspections and help ensure that commercial vehicles leave the workshop safely and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final inspections of heavy motor vehicles and trucks.
• Perform test drives and verify repair quality.
• Confirm that customer complaints and workshop job-card items have been fully addressed.
• Reduce rework, repeat failures, and customer comebacks.
• Assist with advanced diagnostics and technical problem solving on difficult jobs.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance where appropriate.
• Support high standards of workmanship, safety, and reliability.

Requirements

• Qualified Trade Tested Diesel Technician or Diesel Mechanic.
• Previous experience as a senior Diesel Technician, Quality Controller, or Workshop Foreman/Supervisor.
• Experience in commercial vehicles, truck dealerships, fleet maintenance, or heavy motor vehicle workshops.
• Valid Code EC / Code 14 driver's licence is required; PDP is advantageous.
• Strong technical judgement and credibility with workshop teams.
