About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment. You will play a vital role in ensuring machinery and fleet vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
Repair or replace defective engine components and parts
Conduct safety inspections and performance testing
Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Collaborate with workshop teams to minimise equipment downtime

Requirements

Trade Test Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic or relevant technical qualification
Previous experience servicing and repairing diesel engines and heavy machinery
Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical components
Ability to read technical manuals and diagnostic reports
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's licence (preferred)
Experience with diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
