Role Overview

Prosperitas Personnel is hiring a Design Engineer (Solar & BESS) in JHB - Central. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused design services team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Produce detailed, construction-ready engineering design packs for solar PV and BESS projects, including all required technical drawings and specifications.
Support the team by managing design PV system layouts, inverter configurations, and battery storage integration solutions.
Take ownership of Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and grid requirements.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Design Engineer (Solar & BESS).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of design services work.
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
