K2 RECRUIT is hiring a Design Engineer - Draughtsman in Durban. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused design services team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on design and develop innovative point-of-sale display units and retail stands.
Take ownership of Design sheet metal parts, welded assemblies, machined components, and complete display systems.
Keep momentum on ensure designs are practical, durable, cost-effective, and production-friendly.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Design Engineer - Draughtsman.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
