This Data Protection Officer opportunity in Pretoria gives the right candidate a chance to work in security with clear responsibilities and visible impact.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing a certified information security professional (CISSP), certified information security manager (CISM) or equivalent qualification; and.
Keep momentum on at least 8 to 10 years' experience in data privacy, data protection or information security – either from a compliance or implementation perspective of which at least 3 y.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Data Protection Officer.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.

Requirements

8 to 10 years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
