PM Connection is hiring a Data Engineer – Agentic AI & Large-Scale Data - (CONTRACT) in Cape Town. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to keeping goods, people or schedules moving with fewer delays and cleaner handovers.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on our client is looking for a strong Data Engineer with hands-on experience in data platforms, large-scale scraping, LLMs, and agentic AI solutions.
Take ownership of This person should be able to build reliable data pipelines and also help design AI agents that can use tools, query systems, process data, and automate complex workflows.
Take ownership of Build scalable data pipelines for batch and near-real-time ingestion.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Data Engineer – Agentic AI & Large-Scale Data - (CONTRACT).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
