Data Assistant

Our client, located in the Southern Suburbs, is looking for a Data Quality Coordinator to become part of their well-established organisation.

In this role, you will work within the data processing team, focusing on ensuring that information gathered from airborne surveys is captured, maintained, and managed with a high level of quality, consistency, and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric
  • Graduate, minimum diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively manage data
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Keen eye for detail with a high level of attention to detail
  • Passion for maintaining the highest standard
  • Enjoys structure and routine
  • Good Communication Skills and a keen team player
DUTIES
  • Carefully reviewing data to identify anomalies or inconsistencies
  • Maintaining exceptional data standards each day with strong attention to detail
  • Efficiently handling and organizing large datasets of geophysical information
  • Overseeing file naming structures, metadata records, and accurate data archiving
  • Following established quality control procedures on a daily basis
  • Managing and implementing standardized checklists and operational processes
  • Ensuring consistent and accurate data assessment every day
  • Working closely with field teams to quickly identify and resolve data quality issues

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
