Cybersecurity Analyst

Synopsis

We are looking for a skilled and analytical Cybersecurity Analyst to protect company systems, networks and sensitive information from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities and implement measures to prevent cyberattacks and data breaches.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity and potential threats.
2. Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
3. Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
4. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
5. Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations.
6. Maintain security documentation and incident reports.
7. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and industry standards.
8. Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats and security technologies.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

1. A qualification in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
2. Knowledge of network security, firewalls and security protocols.
3. Familiarity with security tools, monitoring systems and threat detection.
4. Understanding of data protection and cybersecurity principles.
5. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CEH are advantageous.
6. Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
