Customer Service Technician

An exciting opportunity is available for a Customer Service Technician to join a high-volume manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll work closely with customers and internal teams to provide technical support, resolve product-related issues, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Customer Service Technician to join a high-volume manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll work closely with customers and internal teams to provide technical support, resolve product-related issues, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
What You'll be doing:
- Support customer product trials and new product introductions to ensure successful implementation.
- Investigate customer complaints and provide technical solutions to resolve product-related issues.
- Conduct customer visits to assess product performance, provide support, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical support to production teams to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, product specifications, and related documentation.
- Deliver product and process training to customers, operators, and apprentices where required.
- Work closely with Quality, Production, and other technical teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Diploma in Quality or a related technical qualification.
- Injection Moulding or Plastic Processing Certificate.
- A trade qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' technical experience within an injection moulding or plastic manufacturing environment.
- Sound understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Well organised with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
