Customer Service Agent (24/7 Call Centre Operations)

About the Role 

We are seeking motivated, Customer-focused Service Agents to join our growing 24-hour call centre operation. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to international customers through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels. 

As our call centre operates 24/7, successful candidates must be willing and able to work rotational shifts, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions professionally and efficiently. 
  • Resolve customer queries, concerns, and complaints while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. 
  • Accurately capture customer information and update records in company systems. 
  • Follow established processes, procedures, and service standards. 
  • Escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate departments when necessary. 
  • Meet individual and team performance targets, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics. 
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude during all customer interactions. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection requirements. 


Minimum Requirements 

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate. 
  • Previous customer service, call centre, or contact centre experience preferred. 
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. 
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities. 
  • Computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts. 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting international customers. 
  • Familiarity with CRM and customer support platforms. 
  • Experience working night shifts or in a 24-hour operational environment.

Working Hours 

This is a shift-based position within a 24-hour operation supporting customers across various time zones. Employees will work on a rotational schedule, which may include: 

  • Day shifts 
  • Evening shifts 
  • Overnight shifts 
  • Weekends 
  • Public holidays 

Schedules will be provided in advance and managed in accordance with operational requirements.
