Creditors Clerk - Car Rental

Role Overview

A growing car-rental company in Durban is seeking a Creditors Clerk to join its finance team. The role supports accurate processing, reconciliation, and maintenance of supplier accounts and creditor transactions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, capture, and process supplier invoices accurately and timeously.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, delivery notes, or supporting documentation where applicable.
• Reconcile supplier statements against accounting records.
• Investigate invoice, statement, and accounting-record discrepancies.
• Prepare creditor payment schedules and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate supplier and creditor records.
• Assist with month-end creditor reconciliations and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Creditors Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, or in a similar finance role.
• Experience handling supplier accounts and reconciliations.
• Strong numerical and administrative ability.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Car-rental, automotive, fleet, or motor-industry experience is advantageous.
