We are seeking experienced Credit Risk / Credit Vetting Consultants to join a fast-paced and dynamic financial services environment. This role is suited to individuals with a strong background in credit assessments within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed credit assessments and affordability checks
• Analyse credit bureau reports and financial information
• Verify client documentation (income, bank statements, ID, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies
• Make risk-based decisions and provide clear motivations
• Handle client interactions professionally, including explaining outcomes

Requirements:

• BCom Degree (Finance, Accounting or Economics)
• 2–3 years’ experience in credit vetting / credit risk
• Experience within a banking environment (preferred)
• Strong understanding of credit processes and legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment

Additional:

• Exposure to credit card assessments advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and decision-making ability
