JUNIOR COST ACCOUNTANT / INVENTORY & OPERATIONS SYSTEMS CONTROLLER
KILLARNEY GARDENS CAPE TOWN
R25 000 – R35 000 CTC

Are you a JUNIOR, analytical Cost Accountant who loves numbers, systems, stock and figuring out where the money is going?
We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Cost Accountant / Inventory & Operations Systems Controller to take ownership of inventory accuracy, product costing and production systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Manage and maintain the integrity of the Meat Matrix inventory and production system
Ensure 100% accuracy of inventory and validate all stock movements
Handle product costing, cost calculations and standard cost updates
Manage Meat Matrix operators across production and operations
Plan and supervise monthly stock takes
Daily balancing and reconciliation of yields, recipes, batches and production block tests
Monitor and report on margins, yields, production losses and wastage
Develop and implement effective inventory controls and procedures for new products and ranges
Identify discrepancies, investigate variances and ensure corrective action is taken

WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Cost Accountant / Junior Cost Accountant
Relevant Accounting / Cost Accounting qualification
Experience in costing, inventory, stock control or manufacturing
Strong analytical and numerical ability
Excellent Excel skills
Comfortable working with ERP / production systems
Someone who is hands-on, proactive and enjoys working with both numbers AND operations
Strong attention to detail – when the stock doesn't balance, you want to know WHY!
