A well-established firm in De Waterkant requires a hands-on professional at their branch in Cape Town, who can attend to files from instruction to registration, including drafting documents, liaising with clients and financial institutions, coordinating with the Deeds Office and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.

REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified South African Attorney and Conveyancer
- Notary Public qualification advantageous
- Min 5 years post-admission experience in conveyancing
- Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing and property law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Demonstrated success in business development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Client-focused, professional, and results-oriented
DUTIES
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships, leveraging an existing client base to support the firm’s continued growth
- Manage the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions, including property transfers, bond registrations, cancellations, and related matters
- Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, banks, and other key stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Draft, review, and process all conveyancing documentation in line with current legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all matters are handled timeously, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards and deadlines
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, as needed
