Rory Mackie & Associates is hiring a Communications Manager - Sports (National and International) in Cape Town, South Africa. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused pr & communication team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Keep momentum on responsible for the management of communications with all our clients' members, sponsors, and stakeholders, ensuring that our client is presented as a strong and respecte.
Keep momentum on manage agreements and budget for the communications department.
Support the team by managing manages our client's communication with which includes members, player agents, sponsors, across all platforms.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Communications Manager - Sports (National and International).
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
Relevant qualifications or certifications will strengthen the application where required by the employer.
Comfort with the systems, tools or technical platforms mentioned in the source role.
