Commercial Operations Manager - Manufacturing

Are you a commercially driven finance professional with a passion for manufacturing, costing, and business performance? Our client is recruiting an experienced Commercial Operations Manager to play a strategic leadership role within a leading animal feed manufacturing business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional to partner with senior leadership, drive profitability, influence strategic decision-making, and optimise financial performance across multiple manufacturing operations.

Minimum Requirements

• CA(SA), CIMA, or an equivalent finance qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in commercial finance, costing, profitability analysis, and leadership.
• Strong experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business partnering.
• Experience with commercial costing and profitability optimisation.
• SAP experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute commercial strategy.
• Drive profitability through detailed costing, financial analysis, and operational insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Analyse operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support cost optimisation initiatives.
