Commercial Analyst – Costing & Process Improvement
- Are you commercially sharp, highly analytical, and obsessed with improving processes and profitability?
- A dynamic and fast-paced business is looking for a driven Commercial Analyst to take ownership of the full costing function while identifying opportunities to improve systems, efficiencies, and gross profit performance across the business.
- This is not a “capture and process” role — we are looking for someone who can think commercially, challenge inefficiencies, analyse data deeply, and drive meaningful operational improvements.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Managing the full end-to-end costing function across the business
- Analysing project costs, supplier pricing, margins, and profitability
- Preparing accurate and commercially sound costings within strict deadlines
- Identifying costing discrepancies, inefficiencies, and commercial risks
- Driving continuous process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Implementing and optimising costing systems and applications
- Developing costing models, reports, and analytical tools for management reporting
- Collaborating with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Warehouse, and Sales teams
- Improving visibility, consistency, and standardisation within the costing process
- Supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial and commercial analysis

- Diploma or Degree in:
- Finance
- Accounting
- Cost & Management Accounting
- Business Management
- Supply Chain
- Industrial Engineering
- 3–5 years’ experience in:
- Costing
- Commercial analysis
- Finance
- Process improvement
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with costing systems, ERP systems, or commercial applications
- Solid understanding of costing principles, pricing structures, and GP margin management
- Experience implementing or optimising systems/applications
- Exposure to operational or supply chain environments
- Proven track record improving efficiencies and reducing process bottlenecks
