Synopsis

A precision engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support complex machining work. The role requires technical accuracy, sound programming judgement, and close collaboration with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

Create and edit CNC programs for complex machining applications.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tooling requirements.
Optimise cutting parameters, cycle times, and material usage.
Assist machinists during setup and first-off production runs.
Investigate programming-related defects and implement corrections.
Maintain accurate program revisions and technical records.
Work with quality and engineering teams to improve repeatability.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

Relevant CNC programming or machining qualification.
Proven experience programming CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment.
Ability to read technical drawings and understand tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving ability.
Experience with relevant CAM or CNC programming software.
