Chief Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene Engineer

Role Overview

A mining operation is seeking a senior ventilation and occupational hygiene engineer to lead underground health, ventilation and exposure-control programmes.

This position combines day-to-day delivery with accurate administration, timely follow-through and professional coordination with the people and teams who rely on the role.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the following areas:

• Develop and maintain mine ventilation strategies and plans. Maintain clear records, communicate progress and escalate exceptions promptly where required.
• Monitor occupational exposures and recommend effective controls. Maintain clear records, communicate progress and escalate exceptions promptly where required.

Requirements
