Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Our client is appointing a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, governance, and sustainable growth across the organisation. This role requires a highly experienced executive who can balance strategic direction with disciplined controls and reporting. You will partner with the CEO and board to deliver accurate financial insights, funding strategy, and risk oversight. - Lead the organisation’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment to business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee governance, compliance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
- Manage executive reporting to the board, including performance, cashflow, and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, treasury, funding, and capital allocation decisions.
- Ensure accurate statutory and management reporting and lead audit engagements to completion.
- Drive performance improvements, cost optimisation, and financial discipline across the business.
- Build and lead high-performing finance teams, setting standards and developing capability.
- CA(SA) or equivalent required.
- 12+ years senior finance leadership experience (executive level).
- Strong strategic finance, governance, and funding experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and performance management capability.
- High integrity, strong decision-making, and excellent communication.
