CHEP Pallet Administrator
Role Overview
An FMCG-manufacturing business is seeking a CHEP Pallet Administrator to control pallet movement, maintain customer records, monitor the CHEP account, and manage pallet costs and losses across warehouses, depots, and customers nationally.
Responsibilities
- Maintain internal and external pallet movement records and manage pallet control in warehouses and at customers.
- Update customer CHEP details and capture and reconcile pallet movements daily.
- Track pallets de-hired from the CHEP account and maintain accurate customer record cards.
- Reconcile weekly and monthly pallet costs and counts and investigate pallet losses.
- Liaise with customers on pallet issues and recoveries and resolve queries to control account costs.
- Raise queries for incorrect charges and transfers and reconcile physical pallets, pallets in transit, and pallets received.
- Coordinate pallet collections, verify documents, and send records to the relevant departments.
- Conduct biweekly stock takes including third-party warehouses and present reconciliations to Supply Chain and outstanding totals to Sales.
Requirements
- At least three years' experience in a similar pallet, warehouse, logistics, or account-administration role.
- Strong reconciliation, recordkeeping, customer-liaison, query-resolution, and cost-control skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse teams, the CHEP office, Supply Chain, and Sales.
- Comfortable with daily controls, stock takes, documentation, and time-sensitive reporting.
