Role Overview

Execustaff South Africa Pty Ltd needs a Chemical Process Engineer who can step into a practical role in Tshwane (Pretoria). A key part of the work involves BEng / BSc Chemical Engineering, or BEng Process Engineering, or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of Understands HAZOP methodology and the importance of process safety in chemical handling environments.
Keep momentum on develop Python or Excel-based optimisation tools where useful (RO recovery, ion exchange regeneration cycles, chemical dosing, etc.).
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Chemical Process Engineer.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.

Requirements

Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of chemical work.
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
Comfort with the systems, tools or technical platforms mentioned in the source role.
