Catering Manager - Educational and B&I

The Role

A Catering Manager is required in Pretoria to efficiently manage the catering function of the unit while meeting financial, quality and service parameters under the commercial contract. The role covers educational and business-and-industry catering operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, reporting and financial controls.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and general quality standards.
• Manage purchasing, stock control and food-production requirements.
• Oversee food service, functions and daily catering operations.
• Maintain client liaison and support client retention.
• Manage systems, controls and administration for the unit.

Requirements

• Food Services qualification or equivalent.
• Three to five years' relevant catering or food-services experience.
• Experience managing staff, budgets, stock and food-safety standards.
• Strong client-service, organisation and operational-management skills.
