Our retail / FMCG client in Johannesburg is looking for a Category manager with 4-5 years’ experience in Buying and as a Category Manager within the convenient market food retail space.

Min Requirements

Relevant Qualification an added bonus
4-5 years’ experience as a category manager / buyer within the retail convenience market food space
Proven buying experience within convenience market retail bakery and/or food categories at a manufacturer level (essential)
Strong understanding of category management and commercial drivers – convenience market retail food space
Experience working across multi-site retail or food service environments
Exposure to concept development and product innovation
Packaging experience will be advantageous
