Our retail / FMCG client in Johannesburg is looking for a Category Buyer with 3 years experience in Buying and as a Category Buyer within the convenient market food retail space.

Salary: Negotiable

Min Requirements

Relevant Qualification an added bonus
3 years plus experience as a category buyer within the retail convenience market food space
Proven buying experience within convenience market retail bakery and/or food categories at a manufacturer level (essential)
Strong understanding of category management and commercial drivers – convenience market retail food space
Experience working across multi-site retail or food service environments
Exposure to concept development and product innovation
Packaging experience will be advantageous
