Life Healthcare Group (Pty) Ltd is hiring a Case Manager | General Ward in Johannesburg. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to contributing to a focused general team with practical day-to-day responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of General based at Life Flora Hospital, reporting to Gail Bunting , Patient Services Manager .
Take ownership of Updating length of stay and level of care to funders of general ward cases and where operationally required specialised unit cases.
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Case Manager | General Ward.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.
Keep records, updates and handovers clear so decisions can be made with confidence.

Requirements

Enough hands-on experience to understand the pace and standards of general work.
Clear communication and the confidence to work with different stakeholders.
Sound judgement, ownership of assigned work and willingness to solve problems properly.
