DGL HR is hiring a Cargo Duty Manager - George in George. The role is suited to someone who can bring discipline, judgement and steady execution to building, supporting or improving systems that people rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities

Support the team by managing identify and report all suspicious, undeclared and miss-declared cargo in relation to Dangerous Goods regulations and cargo security standards.
Keep momentum on report any suspicious acts immediately to law enforcement in order to address deviations from agreed security regulations standards.
Take ownership of Monitor that cargo from Customers is processed correctly and accurately and that it meets all Security and Acceptance criteria by constantly monitoring the .
Take responsibility for the core day-to-day work expected of a Cargo Duty Manager - George.
Work with colleagues, customers or suppliers to keep work moving and issues visible.

Requirements

Relevant experience in security or a closely related field.
Good planning habits, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Comfort working to agreed standards while adapting when operational needs change.
