Assisting elderly patients with activities of daily living.
Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
Assisting with mobility and transferring of patients where required.
Monitoring patient well-being and reporting any concerns.
Providing companionship and emotional support.
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
Ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
Maintaining professional relationships with patients and their families.
Adhering to healthcare standards, policies, and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
Desired Experience & Qualification
Care Worker, Caregiver, or Home-Based Care Certificate.
Valid First Aid Certificate will be advantageous.
Previous experience caring for elderly patients.
Experience in home-based care, frail care, or private caregiving environments.
Ability to provide physical support to patients when required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Professional and trustworthy conduct.
Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
Reliable and punctual.
Physically fit and capable of assisting with patient mobility.
Must have a genuine passion for elderly care.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
