Care Manager - Registered Nurse

Synopsis

A residential elderly-care environment in White River is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to serve as Care Manager. This hands-on leadership role carries responsibility for resident care, nursing and care teams, care-centre operations, clinical documentation and communication with residents and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily delivery of holistic, resident-centred care.
• Develop, maintain and review resident care plans and clinical records.
• Lead nursing and care staff and coordinate rosters, leave and attendance.
• Manage staff training, performance and day-to-day team leadership.
• Oversee medication management and relevant care procedures.
• Maintain infection-control, health-and-safety and risk-management standards.
• Communicate with residents and families regarding care requirements and concerns.
• Maintain accurate operational and resident records using CRM and supporting systems.
• Coordinate care-related stock and associated billing records.

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Registered Nurse with current SANC registration and annual practising licence.
• Minimum two years of management experience within elderly care.
• Proven experience managing nursing and care teams.
• Experience caring for elderly and frail residents, including dementia care.
• Strong people-management, administrative and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of electronic systems, CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
